Has anyones dog have a wart that was black and bleeding. My dog has skin color warts throughout his body but this one on his head is black and if he rubs his head on the floor he makes it bleed. He did have one 2 years ago that I had removed but now its back in another spot. Im concerned it could be cancerous. I never had the other one tested because he was 13 back then and I figured what could I do about it and now he is 15 with another one. Thanks Mindy
Only your vet is qualified to discuss the possibilities of whether a wart could become cancerous, but any bleeding should be addressed, if for no other reason than the possibility of infection. The growth is obviously bothering your pet, if it is being rubbed to the point of bleeding.
Definitely, you need to at least call your vet and describe the situation.
