It sounds like she may had been stung by something. Any bees or spiders in the area?

Yep, sounds like a trip to the vet is in order. You might put a cool compress on it (soaked in salt water). Do not press or poke at the inflamed area but make certain it is clean.

If you're talking where the top and bottom lip meet in the corner I agree on a possible bite. But if it's the side of the mouth I'd worry it could be a tooth that's infected. Chis are notorious for their dental issues and it's not uncommon to see a huge blister start on the side of their face that will eventually bust wide open from the infection.
Get the baby to the vet to be safe. Even if it's a bite it could be from something she's allergic to.

looks like was nothing serious. swelling went down by end of evening and has seemed to clear up. NOW, she will not keep anything down. eaten four times in last 48 hrs and every bit came up within 2 hrs or less from time of eating. only fed her 5-8 pieces of regular food and it came up. switched to plain rice and it came up 1.5 hrs later, mixed in some bland baby food (chicken/veggie mix) and that came up too. Now what? not concerned with mouth issue since that seems to have gone away but she cant keep anything down? drinks water fine, bathroom trips are all normal and regular. how do we keep some food in her???

If she is not keeping anything down then you really need to get her to the vet. It sounds like she may have eaten something that is causing a blockage in her stomach.

She needs to see an emergency vet before she dehydrates.

You've got to get her to a vet ASAP!!! She may wind up dying if you continue to do nothing.
