Now that it is getting warmer I am going to try and get Rip to enjoy being in the house.

The last time his almost jumped out a big window.

So, I have a large create in the family room and we will put him in it for short times.

I could not do this in the winter because of getting him warm and having to put him back out.

Good luck! It took a while for one of my BF's dogs to be happy inside, but practice makes perfect...she finally prefers being inside with us, maybe because she's getting a little older and has less of that crazy energy. What really helped was taking her for long hikes, walks and runs so she'd be too pooped to mind being curled up on a fluffy blanket and eating treats instead of out in the yard frolicking in the dirt and making her purdy white coat all dingy, LOL!

Rip is an escape artist.
You could always persuade him to stay indoors with treats.

LOL..

If Rip is lose...he is gone.

He did good again yesterday.

After being created a hour or so, I let him out in the house.

He laid on the couch for a little while.

He even came in the kitchen when called for a treat.

Our two labs are doing better with him than I thought they would.
