Kuddos to the Texas Senate! Texas House Bill 1451, the so called "Puppy Mill Bill" has passed! Now the House needs to vote on the changes and then its off to the Governor for signature!! Whoo Whoo! GO TEXAS!!!

If only other states would be so smart. And their legislatures would not back pedal and give in to money being thrown at them by millers.

Give it time...like most cruel and inhuman pursuits (rooster fighting, dog fighting & animal testing) it takes time to overcome the lobbys and to win the day with majority opinion. The best way to fight is to keep educating people! There are still so many that have no idea how bad puppy mills really are and the suffering that takes place there. I'm hopeful that laws like this will continue to spread around the country and eventually become a federal law. Heres to hoping for a less cruel future for all animals!
