Here's Shaggy, the dog I posted about who was rescued in South Carolina by the big group of people.
Wow--her "before" photo. Can you imagine?!
They had to completely shave her. She must feel amazing and weird right now.
Here's the written update:
"I just wanted to post a short update on Shaggy here in South Carolina. Yesterday after a very successful rescue mission with so many amazing volunteers, we took her to the hotel, shaved her, and allowed her to sleep all day. Later on in the evening I gave her a bath, and got her onto my bed. She slept next to me all night, and I think she is starting to like it. She is still in a little bit of a shock, but considering that she had been living on the streets alone for 5 YEARS, she is doing really well.
I am heading out to try and rescue another dog this morning, so I'll let you watch Shaggy LIVE. Here is the link: Shaggy_South_Carolina on USTREAM: . Dogs (Don't worry, she is not going to be alone... we arranged for her to have a babysitter). Have a great day :-)"
[Bless you for helping her, and congratulations on a great grooming job! Very well done!
