I just want to say that since I became owner of my rottweiler puppy who is 3mos. old, I have learned so much from this forum. The people who have responded to my threads have been giving me great advice. I've never owned a pet much less a dog, and I've never actively wrote on a forum and I just want to thank all for the good advice and knowledge I've been receiving.

I wanted to add that we now have the lay down command and the paw command we already had him coming to his name, sit when told, easy when nipping and now the lay down an paw. He will do all every time we ask. Now working on stay and still working on leave it. Still long way to go but I'm a proud momma.

Keep it up; short sessions (he's still very young) and lots of praise for correct responses. Practice is everything; especially when he hits adolescence.

Not every first-time puppy owner would be so dedicated to raising a pup the right way. You should be proud of yourself.

Word of advice - even people who have owned multiple dogs, for decades, Never Stop Learning new things about their dogs and how to handle them.

This evening he stepped in his poop after he went on accident so i picked him up to give him a bath an he is always good in bath but he never sits he stands today i sat on edge of tub feet in an he actually sat an calmly just let me bathe him afterwards when I was drying him he kept licking me hes awesome
