For those who aren't aware- Animal Planet runs the Puppy Bowl during the Super Bowl (and I think re-runs it all day). A wonderfully cute "football stadium" set, with puppies running around, tackling each other, a referee, a set of a crowd and cheering noises, closeups (the Waterbowl Cam) and it's just too cute for words. Enjoy!
I flip it on every year, it is some kinda funny, I get tired of it after about a half-hour, but I usually turn back to during commercials it as I watch other stuff thru the day or leave it on while I'm reading. Some pups are my "favs," but they change the "teams" every so often. It's funny when some of the pups get to fighting rather too hard, and in comes this gigantic leg and foot of a human, and they pick up the devilish duo and call points against the team for rough-housing or something like that.
Love the Puppy Bowl. I think it's grate that all the pups are available for adoption from rescue groups.
I agree, I bet all the pups easily get adopted. Makes me think that PetFinder, or some such org should milk this concept. If you put adoptable dogs on TV, people will elevate their status, thinking these are special dogs, slightly famous dogs, and they want that little fella in their home! Imagine if you add an animal loving celeb like Jennifer Aniston, and she's hugging this dog, alot of people are going to want that dog.
It's probably prohibitively expensive, but maybe not.
But I saw this cute Budweiser commercial this morning on my local news. Be sure to watch to the very end.
