Hi all
Had to let my 7 year old dog goto sleep due to cancer.
Problem I have is I never thought about her breed until now.

We got her from a pound where they said she was found on the street in a cardboard box with a mirror white version of her one week old.

Of course whitey was gone in a week, Molly waited 3 months before we found her.

She apparently had cancer for a year and this picture is in the last week waiting for her scan. She was 112lb in this picture.

She was a brillaint relaxed friend, seem to behave like a guardian breed waiting and watching rarely playing the fetch games. Never barking - accept the 1 dog she hated, and only ever once at a human who came from behind me downtown when I was unloading the car.
Favorite time was a less than 1km work and plenty of sitting watching traffic and rides in the car.

So wondering if anyone can suggest what breed she might have been mixed with.

Thank you for your help

Oh, I'm never any good at this "guess the breed" game (although I'm sure many people will come on board and tell you), but Molly sure was gorgeous. She looks like she was very wise and very, very sweet.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Oh so sorry for your loss. Sounds like she had a great life though...she's a lucky one.

My guess: Lab & Shepherd with a little something else thrown in.

Maybe lab and Bernese Mountain Dog?

Whatever she was, she really was beautiful. I'm very sorry for your loss.

She certainly looks like she was a happy girl. I would think some Lab, by the shape of her head and some German Shepherd because of some of her coloring and guardian tendencies.

she sure looks like she had a very kind soul/disposition, so sorry she is gone.
perhaps a non barking breed such as rottie, berner , chow ,etc.
could be in there somewhere.

gsd and labs do like to bark , imo .
