Hi Peeps,
My other dog Hef started digging holes EVERYWHERE in our back yard!!!This is going on for a week now. I scold him and everything else, but he just won't stop - as soon as we go in the house ( to see what he is going to do ), he goes back and starts diggin again. We play with him and Portia every day, we take them for walks etc. So, I don't think he is doing that because we don't spend much time with him, because we do ( all the time other than we are in college ).Does anybody have tips on how to correct this behavior?

We had that problem for a while also.
We spoke to a trainer (friend) and he told us to bury the feces in the spot they dig. I beleive it worked. They stopped digging.
Something to think about.
Good Luck
DITTO! OR HES BORED!!!!!!!!!!!! What's the breed? Huskys are diggers.
give him a pool of water or a sandbox to dig in
Actually, they have little pool where they can cool of when they're outside. And, he is a bull boxer mix. As I said earlier, I really don't think he is bored, because we play with them a lot. Although I did fine one doggie bone in one the holes. He probably put it there because he didn't want to eat the rest of it. But all the rest of them were empty...He just started doing that recently.
My husky mix dug up a dead plant and dug a 12 inch deep hole and had his favorite sqeekie toy in it. I think he was trying to burry Mr. Sqeekie. Cute. I hope he does not make a habit of it though.
maybe he plays but his brain is still active ....give him a job.
have him bring you laundry, find things, etc. ....another idea is hide treats throughout the yard to distract him from digging.
Can you give him a designated area where it's okay to dig? Just repoint him each time to train him where "his" area is?
