I'm sorry, I can think of so many other ways to spend this kind of money which would benefit mankind or other living dogs. What is the guy thinking? A case of more dollars than sense.
Many people look at their pets as their children, and love them that much. If you lost one of your children and had the money, would you try to clone him/her? Maybe so.
To have one of my dogs back would be priceless to me. But cloning doesn't necessarily give you a dog that acts anything like the original, or even looks like it (although I don't understand that part). And with so many homeless dogs, I'd feel selfish doing that even if it were possible to get the same dog over again. I'd rather donate the money and adopt another shelter dog.
But it is his business what he does with his money.
I understand how much a person can love his pet dog. As a dog lover I agree that using the money to help abandoned and sick dogs would be best.
YES YES and YES!
