I'm soooo glad he agreed with the evaluations! These poor dogs deserve a chance to live happy normal lives.

And I'm also happy that here's proof that having been fought doesn't automatically make the dog unadoptable. He/she just needs to go the right home, a very experienced one IMO.

My Goodness, TWO positive pit bull related happenings in a matter of 24 (I think) hours. I can barely contain myself

Weren't there 49 dogs originally? So that means that only 1 won't be adopted out? That is great!

Yes, I definitely hope that they go to homes with experience. They need love and acceptance and good guidance so that they can fulfill their potential.

I've seen rescued pit bulls who were burned with cigarettes to try to make them mean, and it still didn't work. The breed needs some credit for its forgiveness and adaptability.

Yup, just one deemed to aggressive. Lord only knows what it had gone through

They have incredible fortitude, for sure.

To day ch 4 nbc out of washington DC said that tommorrow is the last day to apply for the dogs. But it seems this was for 'established pitbull rescues' not life homes.

Going to established rescues is good. They are good at spotting good from potentially bad owners. thats great news. I dont think that if I was kept in a cage and tortured like they where id be adoptable. Says allot for the forgiving nature of dogs really.
