Second, Portuguese Podengo Pequenos!

We live in LA. We have plenty of dog parks. The male is great with that environment. He's social and loves to run with the other dogs. The female.... she doesn't want to run around with the other dogs. She's social and active with the other dogs, but, I have noticed that she'd rather stay by my side than chase the other dogs with the our male. The beach.... it takes too long to get there and it's LA! They must be on the leash

Her chase instincts are still intact! She loves squirrels and skunks!

I just wanted to give her another outlet so she can enhance her chase instinct and to keep her tight and fit!

Thank you.

No I was not at the Pet Expo in OC but I know there are a few Silken Windhounds down in OC. I am up in Santa Barbara and we are lucky as we do have a leash fee beach!

Yeah at the dog park my guy likes to stay by me or have people pet him but he will play with some of his sisters friends she is a very social mutt of some herding mix. He tends to like Aussies and Huskies and it can get quite funny when the huskies and his sister decided to chase him. But as I said usually at the dog park I have to find someone to hold him by the collar while I walk to the other end of the park and call him a few times then have them let go that way he at least gets a run in at near top speed so gets to stretch those muscles. It did take him awhile to be comfortable with other breeds as he was 8 months when I got him and had only been around other Silkens but the dog park allowed him to meet other breeds and when there was a 2nd silken he ignored it! His sister on the other hand had a ball with it as they had gone through puppy class together.
