OK, totally adorable puppy, but... I would feel really weird about a dog I didn't pick out myself. I guess you just really really really have to know the person. A good friend set me up with my Houla, but we were just introduced and it went from there. This seems a little more final.

I've always been told a person needs some time to grieve before getting a new pet yet this guy got the new puppy on the same day. Still I think he couldn't stand the idea of his GF being so unhappy.

That was another thing - I would need a little time to grieve. My dogs are like my kids. It would take a while for me to be in a frame of mind to pick out another one or welcome a new one into my life.

But I guess this guy probably knew his girlfriend's wishes pretty well too...

I agree he could not stand by and do nothing about her pain. Way to go boyfriend!!!

She seemed to love the pug, so all is well. The puppy will help to mend her broken heart. Mind you he (pug) will never replace Bebe...she will have another to love.
