In my state if a dog bites 2x they put down. So why adopt a dog that might bite again just as your starting to feel love for her then she does & has to be put down. On the Other hand there were 2 dogs How does the person know in a dark Hallway which dog really bit her? Was it a true bite or a nip? With kids I wouldn't take a chance but without kids I would find out more information.

This is not the dog you are looking for. She will be adopted by someone with the correct environment for her. (It ain't you ) She needs a very quiet home with few visitors. It would be a huge risk bringing in a known biter knowing your children and your children's friends will be at risk.

You're making the right decision by passing on her. She'll find a home that's a good fit for her, and you'll find a dog that's a good fit for your home.
