You could offer to adopt all the dogs yourself. They need to do something with those dogs.
Another option is I saw a poster saying a certain group would pay to spay or neuter Pit Bulls in the local area (a lot of irresponsible owners of those dogs locally). Anyway maybe donate money to have dogs spayed/neutered for those who can not afford it?
I could be wrong, but it doesn't look like there are any animal shelters there, so it's not like the US or other countries where animals are at least given a chance at adoption before they are humanely euthanized. I find it disturbing they aren't willing to say exactly how they are putting the dogs down. Poison? Makes me not want to watch it either, OP.

If that was to my post what I said was...."what else could THEY do"????
The only difference I see is we eat the wild game.
That's the big difference though. We deem dogs as pets, sometimes family; as a species, closer to humans than deer. So people, including me, get very upset when they killed, and by the thousands at a time, especially for no good reason.
The thing is, we are the reasons dogs are here in the first place. We are also the reason they are on the street instead of in the homes. Because we are irresponsible in raising them.
Any animal that is a "PET" needs to be controlled so they don't overpopulate. How they are controlled is a big issue.
One thing we can probably learn from this though, is that humans, like dogs, are overpopulating their habitat with little to no control. But that's another topic.
