Just a fun post

Our dog's name is Charlie, after the town we live in (Charleston, SC). It's a gorgeous and beautiful town and we think our pup reflects that.

My dog isn't named after something, but his name is very unique. A has a normal people name, not a name that most people use for dogs, and a middle name too. Everyone always gets a kick out of a dog having a middle name. For example, your dog's name is Charlie. In my family, his name would be Charles Thomas or something like that.

BeetleJoose. The shelter named him Beetle and I thought that was a dumb name for a dog. I added the Joose and it stuck.

Daisy was named because she kept eating the flowers in the garden.

It doesn't get any more important than naming my Shepherd after me.
After all, I feel I'M an important part of his life, as much as he is of mine.
This is my Bobby.

We have a dog named charlie too but he wasn't named after anything or anyone it just seemed to fit.
My Mom has a big yellow lab named Tobey after her favorite country singer Tobey Keith . Tobey Keith is kinda like a big yellow lab when you think about it.

Previous dog...Benjemin Jake Beringer.

Benjemin - Boyfriend liked Ben Franklin
Jake - My sisters's dog that had just passed.
Beringer - Cause he looked like a bear and he whined.

Current dog.....Madison Oaks Isabella Grace

Madison Oaks - Breeders Name
Isabella - Only name daughter and I agreed on
Grace - Because as a pup she was soooo un-graceful.

My dog (Rudy) is named after two people: Rudolph Valentino, and the figure skater Rudy Galindo.

First namesake is because I adopted him right before Valentine's Day, plus he has these soulful brown eyes like Valentino did. I thought about calling him "Valentino" instead, but that seemed a bit clunky for a dog's name... so it then occurred to me that "Rudy" worked even better, especially since I could get a double-whammy inspiration out of it! I used to be a figure skater here in the Bay Area, and knew/know Rudy Galindo quite well. He's a wonderful person, extremely brave and inspiring, so I was happy to name my dog after him. Actually told him about this via Facebook, and he responded that he was very honored - and reminded me that HIS full name (Val Joe "Rudy" Galindo) was after Rudolph Valentino as well. Oh yeah, lol.

Love your shepherd and hot tub lol I grew up with a long haired white GSD and she was amazing. Every time I walked her people would ask if she was part wolf.

I now have a six month old Saint Bernard.

We got her when she was 12 weeks and 28 lbs. Now she is 6 months and 95 lbs! We named her Cheetah. I don't even know why. My three year old asked Santa for a "big, fluffy, mushy faced dog" so when we saw her it was love at first sight. When we got her we asked what her name should be and my daughter said "Cheetah!"... I asked multiple times if she was sure and gave her other options. Nope, had to be Cheetah. The huge, lumbering, goof ball is named after the sleek, fastest animal in the world.
