As for dedicated work, we are the lucky ones to have this little guy in our lives.

LOL @ "magic bowl"!....that's too funny...good luck with the little guy.

Just wanted to give everyone an update on our little guy...well, not so little anymore! Bear is doing very well, a clean bill of health from our wonderful vet and gaining weight, seemingly daily. Last month he was 16 lbs...this month, he's up to 26 lbs!!!

When my neighbors got a puppy they bought him a snuggly bed and placed a ticking stopwatch underneath to simulate the mothers heartbeat--

He must be such a cutie! I just raised a litter of jackrat pups that I had to bottle raise and I used the Leerburg formula www.http://leerburg.com (broken link) They did super on it. Goat Milk is excellent for young pups and it has a lot of yogurt(stonyfield farm the best) in it so it is really good for them. They are now 9wks and I haven't advertised them yet as I want them to have their shots first. My problem is questioning lepto in shot. I give my own shots as I do rescue and I need to do several dogs so want to buy 25 doses. I want the adults covered for lepto so last yr when I had a litter I gave the fort dodge combo with lepto at 10wks with no problems...the cheapest combo this yr is galaxy ..anyone know if the brand makes a difference? What are your views on this? A country vet near me told me he gives the combo with lepto to all his clients starting at 8wks and has never seen a reaction...he says he has seen a lot of lepto though. I live on a farm and there are wild animals around and rats so that is why the concern for lepto.

Give him a nice cozy bed and place a ticking alarm clock under it. This simulates the mothers heartbeat and will comfort him..
