I've heard that many dog food companies are being sued for pre-made chicken meal which contained Salmonella, and heard purina mentioned.

Is purina beneful safe to use?

I suspect that all dog food contains salmonella. Wash your hands after handling it and don't feed it to your kids.

Salmonella doesn't seem to affect dogs and dogs will eat stuff that is a lot worse than a bit of salmonella on their kibble.

Is beneful safe to use? It's not very good dog food but it is as safe as any other kibble. Wash your hands after handling it and don't use it as an ingredient in your family's soup.

The ph Balance in a dog's stomach is different than humans. Dog's can eat things humans could not.

PLEASE do your dog a great favor and go to Dog Food Advisor and look up Beneful. It is not a good food. There are many threads about decent foods here and a good food is not going to cost a lot more as you feed less. Try and get at least a 4 star and your dog will be much healthier for it. (Beneful is a 1 star). A good rule of thumb is if you can buy it in a grocery store or Supermarket, it is crap food.
