Interesting. From the snopes article it doesn't seem like there is much threat. My munchkins' mouths are so tiny they couldn't have more than 2-3. My Papillon would eat anything that came near him or his mouth.

This totally grossed me out; I really wish I hadn't seen that. Aside from the beetles, that dog's tongue though didn't look healthy at all.

The Asian Lady Bug was brought to the US to help eliminate aphids.

Yes and didn't that backfire in a big way!

Lord they are the biggest nuisance. I can't open the sliding door on warm day, without them blasting into the house.

They sure stink up the vacuum cleaner and DH pulled a big "collection" of them out of heat/AC unit outside. They really stunk up the house when we turned the furnace on to be sure it was working

I can see where they might suck on to a dog's pallet. I would think the dog would be continually wiping its nose if something were suctioned to the top part of the mouth.
