I've had a couple beagles. One sniff and they're off. If it takes a hole, they have great hole digging paws. They have great personalities, just don't get between them and their food. Great dogs.

I know some people are against this idea, but if you crate him in your bedroom where he can see you and hear you at night, you will both probably get a MUCH better sleep.

Dogs are pack animals and they want to be with their pack, day and night.
