Hello,

About a month ago, we noticed Diesel licking his paws. I caught him licking again and I went to look for anything and I saw nothing. Then, I was looking all over his paw and noticed that the irritation wasn't coming from the top of his paw, but from the bottom.

At first we thought his paw pad split, or he had a corn, but it seems he feels no pain when pressure is applied.

The area that you see is not* a toe. It is basically dangling off of the side of his toe.

Please let me know if anyone has had any similar experience with their dog.

if he hasn't seen the vets he needs to as that can be anything and will probably continue to grow.

Better to get it removed now, if the vet thinks that is what should be done.

Take your dog to the vet. If he is licking it, it is bothering him.

could be anything, have it checked by the vet, dobes are prone to a number of skin issues, so its always best to just rule things out
especially if hes licking, dobes are prone to something called lick granulomas, which become a habitual issue, so get it checked so he wont get into the habit of chewing/licking his feet and causing a real issue

Growth between toes sounds like an inter-digital cyst, but the photos look more like a wart. You are going to have to show it to your vet.

When in doubt, always go to your vet. It could be something minor and inexpensive to treat if you go now than wait and watch it get worse because you trusted the wrong advice on some public forum.
