My poor roomba. Wyatt McRiot is a hair factory. He sheds enough hair every month to knit an entire new dog.

The roomba has never had any problem with the few tiny hairs that Pensive sheds. It does have a little problem with my hair and every few days I have to cut my long hair out of the rollers.

But Wyatt. Wyatt is choking my poor hard working (but dumb) little vacuum cleaner. The little machine stuffs dog hair into its tiny dust bin until no more can be crammed in there and then it packs the Wyatt hair into compact little balls and spits them out.

When the vacuum is done with the house, there are firm little balls of Wyatt hair spread all over the house.

At least the hair balls are easy to pick up.

The little vacuum is trying, its just severely over-matched.

My Roomba lasted all of three hours with my Clumbers. The hair is constant and excessive.

Well, darn. That’s not exactly the visual I got from reading your topic line!

Although the image of your poor little roomba limping around spitting up hairballs is pretty funny!

While Im sure my Lab isnt as bad as mountain shedding GSD, she is quite prolific. We got a roomba because i couldnt take it anymore and its going great. We bought the very expensive roomba with the self emptying base thingy and when "George" gets full he just goes home, empties and goes back out. Works perfect and im not walking around in hair socks. Might be worth a look
