From the Redlands Rock Pit Abandoned Dogs Project rescue group on Facebook:

We are now facing a extremely dangerous category 5 hurricane....we have too many abandoned dogs in Miami-Dade and at the moment we are doing our best to bring as many dogs to safety as we possibly can

At this time we need help transporting dogs to the vet and then to boarding.

Volunteer Transporters will go from the Redlands area in SW Miami to Crossroads Animal Hospital in Kendall, once vetted/treated they will need to go to Bow Wow Resorts in Pompano Beach.

We have limited time to help these dogs. Please let us know if you can help or please share with any contacts

Poodle and Pooch rescue in Central Florida is taking at least 30 of these dogs, they are en route now. There are two litters of puppies, one litter of tiny puppies, both with their moms as well as many beagle mixes, etc. They are trying to take more.
