I think I may go out of my mind. LOL. The two of them have an uncanny ability to appear to be totally deaf when they hear my voice. We took the dog to her training class yesterday. This is her second set of classes (just the next level) and I think she may have ADD. She's usually excellent about following the commands she does know-I guess it was just the distraction of being out and following them (hence the point of the classes-I know), but I had such a hard time keeping her attention to get her to listen to me. I spent the whole time thinking, "who are you and what did you do with my dog?!"

Yes. Yes. Yes. My dog has selective hearing also. I don't think it is unique to your pet. However, when my pet hears the wrapper from a treat, his hearing is sharp as a laser beam. I have seriously thought of clicker training to associate a prompt for commands.
