I didn't want to click through all those pages to learn the 30 items.
But I learned only recently that grapes are quite toxic to dogs, and it doesn't take many to cause harm.
I would say they can be toxic, depending on the dog. I used to give my previous dog (who lived to be 16) grapes and he never suffered any ill effects. He was probably 7 or 8 when I learned it wasn't a good idea, and I stopped.
A lot of stupid things on that list, and I couldn't even get all the way through it because I had to click on an ad to advance and that kept popping up another article instead of advancing. I hate those slideshow lists because they are just clickbait.
They had things like tobacco and iron supplements and spices and coffee on the list, and a bunch of things they'd have to eat quite a lot of to get deathly ill. Yeah if you let your dog eat your cigarettes or give them iron supplements you should probably have your ownership card taken away...

Whoa...hold on here.....are you saying that I SHOULDN'T be giving Scruffy his daily cigar and specialized coffee? But he loves them so much and I don't see any side effects except for some irritability when he goes 6 hours without the caffeine. Hmpff...what do to?

You can give him alcohol to calm him down. Oh wait alcohol is on the list too. Who would ever have thought that alcohol could be bad for dogs?

I think Scruffy and I will have to double our time at the dog therapist to discuss this. We need to get him off of these evils. Alcohol you say? Hmmmm...I'm thinkin' some reefer might do the trick instead. Other than the munchies, what possibly could go wrong?
