It's beyond me why a first time poster wants to come onto the dog forum to discuss rental carpet cleaners. Very odd.

Because dog owners clean their carpets more than most other people. So we would know.

That, I suppose, is a valid point. But the OP didn't even ask a question! More like posted an info piece. Now that I think about it - could be classic old-school trolling - toss something out to see what happens. In this case, something relatively innocuous, eh?

Same here. I adopt only older dogs whose rear legs often get weaker as they age. So I had my entire house tiled and then bought about 40 thick, plush bathroom rugs (2' wide x 5' long). The rugs are placed everywhere the dog might walk. They're easy to wash in the washing machine and dry in the dryer -- and they're so plush that the dog enjoys lying on them and I enjoy walking on them. I also use them to keep the leather couch clean.
