If your garage stays below 80 degrees F, in the Summer, in Texas, then you must live in the coldest part of Texas.

Maybe your thermometer reads in Celsius?

176F would be about right, For Texas in the Summer.

Boxers are high energy and don’t do well kenneled for long periods. We had one who got lots of exercise but still acted out until he was 2 years old.

Has your dog had any training? Does he get long walks? Boxers crave human contact so leaving him in a garage is unfair to the dog. One poster suggested doggy daycare—that’s what I would do.
