I laughed at this so hard I almost done spit out my tobaacy! I dun near ruined my good overalls! Oh well, back to pluckin' my banjo!

Or maybe, just maybe, I was laughing at the failed attempt of a yankee to make people from the South look incredibly stupid.

NEXT.

I absolutely wasn't trying to make anyone feel stupid.
I'm sorry for offending anyone who was offended.
(Notice I didn't say "if I offended" since any apology that starts with "if" isn't really an apology)
I love the south. I moved to Mississippi in April from New York
I forgot to update my profile.
I have high regard for the south. That's why I moved here.
Obviously you hate Larry the cable guy and Jeff Foxworthy?
Was this joke any different than what they do?

I wasn't offended at all, I just didn't think it was funny.

Not trying to be rude or anything though.

C'mon you guys... it's funny!

I grew up in the south and have lived all over. These are all sayings that I've heard in my life - many times before.

Of all the places I've ever been, though, Wisconsin has some of the strangest words and phrases in their vocabulary... (and they THINK they're some kind of superior beings just because they're "northerners"!)

We should all revel in the things that make us unique. (just like our dogs)
If everyone was just the same it would be boring!

One does not have to hail from the South to agree with this!

And thanks, NWS, for the giggle!
