This is Tink...short for Tinkerbell...she's 6 weeks old and the only pup left from her litter. She's doing great with us and will find a home so fast once she's spayed.
Yup purebreed beagle girl. Weighs about 3 lbs and is 6 weeks old. The person who had them said the momma dog ran off (who knows) and was giving the puppies away...the shelter worker only got this one and the rest hopefully will be in good homes and not wind up as hunters (this was WV and hunting dogs don't fair too well there or anywhere for that matter). But I was kind of excited to get a real beagle puppy, most of the ones I get are mixes if they are beagle at all...still cute and all but still it is a beagle rescue after all...LOL My others are looking more and more like little lab babies...I am thinking dad was a black lab...they are adorable as well...but NOT beagles at all except for mom being one...LOL
Oh, what a sweet baby! What a cute little face, and those plump puppy paws...Babies and puppies just make my heart melt. Enjoy the time you have with her.
Beagles are such sweet dogs. It was so sad to realize how many of their breed, per capita, was at the shelter when I was there looking for a dog.
She's adorable!
