I posted a pix previously, but it was too small. Being somewhat computer illiterate, I will try this again.

This is my son's 65lb lap dog. He is such a lover! We think bulldog, pit, lab (loves to swim) maybe boxer? Not interested in doing DNA, just curious

Hopefully if you click on the pix, you will get a bigger view.

Looks to me like and Am Staff! I do not see any boxer in him but who knows. Does not matter in the end what he is, he is the cutest doggie! I love the one ear up, one ear down pic! The loveable comes from the Bully Breed of course!

thanks, we think so..my son basically rescued him last September, when his then roomate at college was moving out, and wasn't taking good care of the dog. My son told his roomate, you can leave, but the dog stays. My son witnessed the kid hitting Rosco with a vacuum hose for peeing on the rug.

I didn't want him to have a dog, because as a 20 year old male, he couldn't take care of himself! But everything has worked out. I even offered to take him "off his hands" for a while because he is that good of a dog. My son told me that I love the dog more than I love him. Probably true most of the time

Funny! And I bet if you ever took Rosco off your sons hands you would never give him back! You have a son that is a real animal lover, something to be very proud of! Sounds like poor Rosco went from an abusive situation to a wonderful, caring and loving home! In the end Rosco is Rosco and he is such a pretty boy! Good luck with him.

I noticed you're in the South, so there's a good chance there's American Bulldog in there (I've read they're more of a Southern dog, traditionally). Could be some pit bull too. Certainly tons of cuteness in there .

Riveree,

My son lives in Tallahassee, and got the dog there, so I guess he's part southern, LOL.
And you are right Blondie, Rosco is Rosco and we adore him!

Ready2move, how old is he? (I'm trying to figure out if the 65 lbs is full-grown or if he still has some growing to do.) He is beautiful. He looks a lot like my beloved boy who is 9 y/o but still thinks he is a puppy. My boy topped out weight-wise at about 70-75 lbs, and that's muscular but not overweight. I don't know for sure what breed my boy is, either, but I don't care. He is such a love!

He's somewhere around a year. He is total muscle and looks skinny to me last time I saw him, but he eats well.
