john - i think it's interesting/funny that a bichon equals a man who would be good with children and would dress up like a clown or santa for holidays, but a poodle equals a cultured man who gets married later in life.

i have always sort of thought those breeds were similar...now i am thinking i am wrong about that.

good thread!

How a person treats any type of pet (bird, reptile, or any other creature) indeed says a lot about what type of human being they truly are. Test the theory and see! I have!!!!!!!!

I think you can tell more about a man by the BEHAVIOUR of his dog.....NOT the breed!

Any dog can be turned into an unruly, unpredictable animal if it has not been properly raised, socialized, trained.

I am female and I own a very LARGE male Rottweiler. I also own a very feminine looking English Shepherd female. My big "guard dog" prefers to snuggle with mama while his "little sister" protects the property against intruders! LOL
