You may be able to drop off a urine sample to your vet along with her, or without (depending on your vet). Sometimes they will check the urine and prescribe medicine without seeing the dog. Which will save you on an office visit fee. Try to get a clean sample, it is hard and I can't tell you how, maybe someone else has some suggestions. Some vets are open on Saturdays, I would call yours first thing in the am and see if you can drop a urine sample by.

Even if you can't get a clean urine sample, the vet can get one with a direct bladder puncture. It's quick, completely sterile and not as bad as it sounds (doctors do that in babies to get urine samples).
PLEASE get her to a vet. She can become septic from an untreated infection and it's NOT a nice way to die.

your dog could be a diabetic, or have a UTI, buy some urine glucose test strips, if it changes colors got to the vet, here are 2 canine diabetes sites, and they are helpful with other conditions also.

Please take her to the vet. My former dog did that and she turned out to have kidney stones and a bladder stone.

A family member had a very old dog that wound up peeing like that out of the blue. Turned out to be cancer.

Better safe than sorry -- get to the vet, could be something simple, could be someting horrible. Wouldn't you rather know and maybe fix it?? The dog can't be enjoying this.

Either way, this dog is old and probably is experiencing urinary incontinence. Your vet will check a urine sample just to rule out infection, but hormones such as DES do help the incontinence. You may have to catch a urine sample! Because it is the weekend you may want to wait until Tuesday. Emergency vets are expensive and incontinence is not life threatening. Just keep her in the kitchen or wherever you dont have carpet!
