My Rotties can't eat very many different treats, like the raw hide, or the bones, any of that because it makes either throw up or get diarrhea.
They are quite happy with basics every once in a while they have a milk bone and couldn't be more happy
A milkbone is the only treat we can give our dog too. Everything else (other than what she steals or is given from our 3 year old ) makes her vomit or diarrhea.

I think they are the closest to the dog food. The cookies (like milk bones, puppy treats, training treats, that are "cookie like") seem to be less harsh on their system...better for us, Rotties are already know for their flatulence, and honestly, I couldn't handle it being any worse....lol
Ever since that bad press years ago.....I still consider them a no no! Dogs were dying after getting them stuck in their stomachs. They were not digestable. Even if they corrected them now....now way would I give my dogs them. I even make my own biscuits for my dogs now. Just made a batch today.
I make Porkchop frozen yogurt. I mash a banana, add a little bit of peanut butter and some plain yogurt, and freeze in ice cube trays. I defrost it somewhat before giving it to him so it's not like ice cubes and he devours it in seconds.
MMMMMMMMMMMM.....doggie icecream! Yummy! I used to pick one of my dogs a week during the Jersey summers and take them to Carvel and get them their own kiddie cup or cone! I guess that is why they are all a little overweight!
I do not because the dog is 8, and her treats are her dog food or carrots. She needs to not gain pounds. She likes the dingo bones, which I do give into. Also the hoof, but that is when she is bored.
The tiny pink dingos she enjoys alot. When I shop, I do get a big bag to treat her? They are small, as she is, and she eats it in 3 minutes! Costly!
I used to be able to give them to Cleo without issue, when we added Tony to the seen little Miss Alpha would bite large on in half and swallow Needless to say, that was the end of Greenies and we use raw carrots instead.
