Can't wait to get her home had forgotten just how tiny they are as puppies.
The breeder we are getting her from has done such a good job with them, the Mum and Dad are lovely dogs too.
Beautiful pup, I have a thing for smooshed faces! Congrats and post more pictures when you get her home! There is nothing like getting your dog from a breeder you trust and getting to raise it from a young age. I have a Bulldog that I've had since 8 weeks and I can't even describe the relationship we have. I never thought I'd bond with a dog like this, but he is absolutely amazing and a total mama's boy. He truly is a dream come true. Looking forward to seeing more pictures of Lilly!
Sorry to hear that. Rescues like that push people to purchase dogs and in my opinion are just as guilty for the dogs that die in shelters.
Not everyone wants a shelter or rescue dogs. Before we got PC, we contacted the local rescue to see what they had to say. The President of that rescue said that if we want a healthy Bulldog, to go the reputable breeder route and provided us resources. He said they don't have healthy dogs in rescues (Bulldogs that is) and that's why people give them up, because they can't afford them.
I still keep in contact with this guy and he's met PC several times. He told us last time we saw him that we'd never find a dog as healthy and with such a personality in his rescue. His dogs are not the type you take to dog parks or beaches and they have a ton of health issues. I'm glad to see a rescue person being so up front about issues and not just preaching the benefits of rescue to anyone that will listen. We feel we made the best decision and ended up with a dog that's more perfect than I could have imagined. We are glad we went with the reputable breeder and not a rescue and would probably do so again.
