She is a GSD/GSP mix and weighed 110 lbs 10 days ago. She has not been eating, was vomiting, and now weighs 98.5 lbs. She has been on an anti-emetic and antibiotic but was not getting better. So toay an X-ray showed odd patterns of gas in her small intestine and a foreign body in her stomach. The ultrasound clarified that she has a "linear foreign body" in her stomach and descending into her bowel. She was taken into surgery a few moments ago and may not survive it. My vet said if the bowel is foldedike an accordian around the foireign body, it leaks usually when they try to fix it and the dog would have a poor prognosis. I wish I could say good-bye if that is the case, but I don'twant her to wake up in pain. If necessary, I will have them let her go. But she is only 5 yrs old! and such a sweetie.

Please say a prayer for my baby.
