Got a new foster... some really harsh, wiry-haired terrier. Weighs about 15 lbs. Care to guess? I sure can't. His name is Stanley.

As someone else wrote recently, a pure-bred cuteness! Some kind of smaller terrier maybe?

So so CUTE!!!! He looks like pound pup we adopted many years ago. Her name was Sandy...part Westie, part who knows! She was awesome!! Smart, agile and oh so lovable. We lost her to kidney failure at the age of 12.

Definitely some kind of terrier. I think I see westie.

What breed would have such a stiff, wiry coat? No softness in it AT ALL.

It turns out we (rescue) had adopted this dog out as a puppy about 2 years ago. He ended up at the same pound we originally rescued him from. We were notified due to the microchip. Rescue director had to go through old photos to see who he was, and we were able to figure out his name, which the adopter never changed. So we know who he is, who his adopter was, but don't how or why he ended up at the same shelter as before, as his adoptive home is out of that pound's jurisdiction.

He won't be going back to his adoptive home.
