Our 2 year old Boxer, Jax got out of our fence last Saturday night about 8pm. We have searched for him all over the city of Bessemer down every ally and street. A lady a few blocks over said she saw him that night and thought it was her dog. He was headed toward downtown Bessemer on 16th street. If you happen to live in the Birmingham area and are out and about the next few days please keep your eyes peeled. We have checked the Humane Society and all local Animal Control places for over a week. We have flyers everywhere! He is very skittish and runs from strangers. He is fawn in color with white socks. He weighs between 95 and 110 pounds and is wearing a brown collar. Here are a few photos...........
Our 6 month old Boxer and 4yr old Mix did not escape. As the week has gone by I am starting to think someone has taken him in. I don't know what to do. My three little girls are devistated.

Google Boxer Rescue in your area for their contact info, they may get him in eventually, post flyers in your area and send to all area vets, also try ads in local papers and Craigslist (free), offering a reward will help too, he's out there somewhere, best of luck in finding him soon!

Oh gosh NO! I'm sick over this, and my heart hurts for you. I'm wishing only the best of thoughts for you that Jax finds his way home.
