I enjoy hearing good stories about any dogs, but especially discriminated ones.

Nice story.

Poor baby. He's been through a lot. Victor deserves a long life in a loving home!!

thank you for posting this! it is always nice to see a positive story about a pit for once. of course the odds aren't to great that this will be picked up outside of local news.

that poor guy - look at his face. hopefully this story will help him find a good forever home.

Good puppy! Some times a harsh woof is enough and this former fighter seemed to know that. Smart dog.

yeah, i love the fact that not only did he prevent the carjacking, he did it in a totally nonviolent way.

i'm glad to hear this is getting coverage elsewhere in the country!

Nice story, pits need all the positive press they can get.

And look at his face...look at it!! What a handsome fella even with his scars. You can see kindness in his eyes. How anybody can abuse something like him is just beyond my realm of understanding.

Thanks for sharing this flkingfan! I'm with you - I love these stories that involve positive PR for breeds of dogs who are most often portrayed poorly - they are just GREAT to read!!!! GREAT job Victor!!! I think if I were his foster mom the day that happened - moments 'after' it happened - he wouldn't be a foster any longer

GREAT story! Glad Amber was okay!!! Even more glad to know the police arrested the perp.........
