Wow, they were lucky! And they didn't even have to guess what kind of snake bit their dog, good going Bronson!

I hope my dogs never do this! I worry about them getting snake bit. Lucky indeed and glad the lab survived his misadventure.

For some reason this looks fake to me. IF I saw my dog with a snake, there would NOT be a picture. I would remove the snake.

I wondered about that picture too. I don't know if they call it something different in Aus. but that snake looks nothing like an American copperhead.

The Australian copperheads are in a different family than the American species. The pictures of them definitely look different. (Google'd it, I'm not a herpetologist - yeah, googled that too!)

I'm glad my labs only retrieve tennis balls, socks, remote controls, bread products and an occasional mouse!
