My little deaf Lyla I just noticed is breathing a little heavy. She also threw up clear vomit three times this morning. I just put her food down and she will not eat. I gave her some yogurt but she threw it up 2 minutes later. She is also going to the water dish more than often. My vet is not in and there is no emergency close by. Any info. as to what could be wrong with her?

Sounds like she has a little gastroenteritis. My vet friends all say not to EVEN TRY to give food or water as long as she's vomiting, because the vomiting will just lead to further dehydration and electrolyte depletion. As long as her stomach is empty, it's less likely that she'll vomit.

See how she's doing in the AM. If she's still under the weather, it's time to see the vet. Hope she's better soon!

I am keeping a close eye on her and if she is no better tomorrow I will run her over to the vet.
Thanx for the info!

I agree, don't feed her any food. She may need fluids when you get her into the vet. Keep water out for her, call your vet as soon as they open. Hope she's feeling better !!

She might be bloated if it's a yellowish almost stringy vomit. If you can also tell that this is happening my looking at their walking patterns and swollen on the side of it's rib cage. It is very important to go to the vet if that's the case and is fatal if not treated
