Hi, I'm traveling from Longville to Superior. I usually take 200 to 2 to 53 & head toward Eau Claire. I checked the MN DOT site but am very confused about how to get from 2 in MN to 2/53 in Wisconsin. Is this such a mess that I should go to Eau Claire through Mpls? I would appreciate any help.

Dont know if Im reading this right but you going from Longville Minn. to Superior WI.??

You dont need to go anywhere except almost straight East,
200 East>
Hwy. 2> until Duluth
Then cross either the Bong or the Blatnik bridge and you will be in Superior, WI.

I'm kinda confused. Are you just trying to avoid the construction? I actually think hwy. 2 ramp onto 35 might be closed.

200 east to hwy. 2
then hwy. 2 to proctor
turn onto 5th st. (which turns into vinland which, if you keep going straight turns into Highland)
That will take you down the hill close to 46th AW which goes right across the bong to Superior.

However, if the ramp is open, just take 200 east to hwy. 2 to hwy 35 north to bong bridge. This is the simplest way. the other way is only to detour you if construction doesn't allow you to take this way.

hope that helps.

You can just stay on #2 across town on Bellknap St, You will come to 53 at a T at a stop light, by the Ira Bong museum. take a right.

(E.2nd street is #53), it is labeled #2 in the lower right corner of the pic, they(2&53) split a few miles south of Souptown.
