Unicel has closed its only Duluth location. I feel like their vacant space would be perfect for Quiznos to open in. They were originally suppose to build a location three years ago where Brakes Plus is now. Plus being they closed their Hermantown location due to the expansion of Anytime Fitness, I feel like they would be wise to open a new location in the area. Any thoughts?

The only reason they wanted to save that building is because Bob Dylan was inspired watching Buddy Holly there. They now want to change it into college housing.

McDonalds corp continues to amaze me on how fast they can build and re-build their locations. I guess it helps when you have one of the largest companies in the world behind you and billions of dollars. Im very excited about what that new store will do for that corner.

Does anyone have any idea of when construction will start on the new Walgreens in the East End?

I saw today that Steiner Development is now leasing the land to the left of Sam's Club. They are advertising 280,000 square feet of retail for lease. This to me is very exciting because Steiner Development is a great retail leasing company based out of the cities. Their projects are gorgeous and they tend to usually secure tenants quite fast and build beautiful developments. I feel like this could now be the potential site for the rumored Lowe's store.
