Can anyone recommend a pet-friendly lodging in either Duluth or Two Harbors? Looking to stay overnight before hiking Gooseberry Falls with my dog and spouse.

The only one I am familiar with, there may be more but The Suites Motel is pet friendly, they do need a $15.00 per night deposit though, which is not refundable. Hope you find a spot, and good hiking, it is supposed to be nice weather.

This website lists quite a few: Pet Friendly Hotels in Duluth, MN, US. The only two I'm familiar with are the Best Western Downtown (now the Downtown Duluth Hotel) and the Edgewater. Frankly, if you're not interested in a small waterpark, I would recommend the Downtown. Rooms should be around ~$95 and it's a to the point kind of place (check-in, sleep, wake up, leave) and they have new wireless internet.

La Quinta. They are always very dog friendly. We use them sometimes when traveling with the dogs. Nothing special but they are clean and comfortable and usually have a kitchenette.
