I remember going to concerts on the Point in the late 70's. When I look on google earth map, I don't see a building that looks like a auditorium to hold a concert. Did they tear it down, or am I just imagining that I went to some building on the point for a concert. One concert that comes to mind was Ted Nugent. I was there in Duluth from 77-81.

the pavilion sits at the bottom of this google map image and appears to be similar as what I remember from a Dylan/Simon concert I attended in 1999...tho, I can't say what it may have been like in the 70's but it certainly looks as if it could have dated to at least that far back.

...oh, and my condolences about what became of the Nooge

Default As the song goes, 'I Musta got lost, somewhere down the line, no park point concert hall

Musta got lost, musta got lost, musta got lost
Somewhere down the line....
J. Geils Band

Well, it must have been some other event that clouds my( over 60 yr. old )brain cells.
Too many beers then, and a lot of naps since then.

The past concert date info shows the concerts were held at the Duluth Arena.

Here was the Nooge , and Nazareth
