I have a friend who is contemplating a move to Duluth for this reason.

Is this a new trend?

I enjoyed the video, thank you for sharing it. I don't know if it will become a trend, however. eventually it will for sure but it may be awhile.

or not!

I actually feel sorry for anyone who thinks we're all going to melt. Just sad.

My goodness...live your life.

That's not a nice thing to say. Why belittle people who want to leave a particular region for whatever reason they have. Constant forest fires seems like a good reason to me.

Are you saying it because you live in Minnesota and don't want anyone else coming in? I live in northern Minnesota and have also lived and worked in Duluth. I moved here over thirty years ago.

If sea levels raise won't the Great Lakes raise too?

I didn't watch the video. What does it say?

A former president who pushed "climate change" not long ago bought ocean-front property.

Where is this dilema, that one must flee their area?

The media is just trying to normalize the trend of rich Californians coming to gentrify our small cities with their large insurance payouts.

Lake Superiors 600 feet above the Atlantic Ocean sea level .with a 3 foot tide. .You shouldn't worry about Climate Change until you learn some geography

Speaking of "climate change" the 1st link tells of a symptom that Minnesotans are experiencing once again this summer.
The 2nd link widens the view of the problem.

I have relatives in both Iowa and Wisconsin who are speaking of their bad air quality as well.
And I have seen hazy skies down here in the southeast where I live.

As the fire seasons out West and in Canada lengthen and deepen in severity due to drought, smoke from their multitudes of fires will continue to follow the westerlies (winds) & spread east. As such, where is a "safe haven" going to be, assuming that good air quality is a non negotiable need?
