Does anyone know the status of the new terminal?

I haven't heard anything, but with the recent loss of that aviation money, the airport was hit pretty hard. Let's hope for the best!

Ahh I forgot about the money loss. I wonder how they will get the money now. Next year? Or will they use their own private funds?

I flew DIA as my first leg on two four-leg flights to and from Barcelona, and I must say that no matter how "ugly" the airport is, that there's no better place to go through security.

I have flown out of Duluth and I loved it. No long lines, just easier in general. Granted it was a few years ago before all the new restrictions and things. I wish American would come back or really any other airline it was nice to have flights to places besides Minneapolis.

For what it's worth you can still fly to Detroit and Las Vegas.

I didn't realize you could still fly to Detroit. I thought only American did a flight there, but was it Northwest? I've heard that Vegas flight is cheap but I'm afraid I'd spend way to much money in Vegas if I went there!

Yup, Northwest flies to Detroit. I flew from Duluth to Orlando, with Detroit as my connection.

This is good news! They have raised nearly $40 million for the new terminal and received another grant. Duluth International Airport - News and Events
