What have I learned? That friendship, not money, is real security. That most western poverty is of the spiritual kind. That independence is really interdependence.
Very interesting.

Thanks for posting that!

lol...he wouldn't have that bike to ride around on if corporations didn't produce steel/aluminum in factories. He wouldn't have a solar powered laptop computer if corporations driving to make a profit didn't go after markets with increased earnings year after year.

This guy lives without cash - great! He does so on the coattails of people who work to earn an income. This guy is a leech. If everyone lived like him we would have no modern societal comforts.

I am not impressed...

No, but you are angry and somewhat jealous of his brass to live like this.

Let me know how he retires or plans to start a family... son don't go to school, stay here and learn to collect your own manure because its better than working and getting everything you need with cash...

lol, not really. I lived in yellowstone national park for a while. I tried the no possessions lifestyle like this guy and like my life now much better. I would rather contribute to society rather than leech off of it.

I agree, one might as well admire the homeless guy shambling by downtown for how he manages to feed himself, drink booze, and cleverly find shelter despite having no income.

I'm not materialistic by any means but admiring a guy like this for his "accomplishments" just doesn't catch me.
