LOL..........how come it's always the the most lazy technology that is always the best sellers? Laptops, Televisions, video games etc. I find it hilarious that every year flat screens are always the hot ticket item to buy. It's never say a treadmill, a BBQ grill, a juicer, or god forbid a bicycle. Hell not even camping equipment. Aren't Americans fat enough, should they be buying more crap to make them fatter by sitting longer on their adipose arses?

America went from the melting pot to the pot belly. White, black, spanish, even asians, you see so many porkers on those Black Friday videos. All with IQs under 90.

For those of us not living in Socal, BBQs and bikes are of limited use in the middle of winter.

For the record, my spouse and I will be buying a flatscreen and a Wii for the family this Christmas. New bikes and sports equipment come at Easter.

Are you equally critical of books? After all, they're usually read by people who are sitting down.

It's winter, Socal, that time of year when it's dark by 5:30 p.m., which puts a serious crimp in a post-work/school bike ride.

It's really no surprise that indoor activities are appealing for holiday gifts, and lots of popular video gaming systems, like Wii and Xbox 360, encourage physical activity. Have you ever seen someone play Dance Party? You can't honestly believe that doesn't qualify as a great workout! And, it's a whole lot more fun than using a treadmill.
