The interesting part is that the far right either completely misunderstands these issues or thinks their fellow nut jobs are too stupid/lazy to check out the validity of such claims. Either way it does little to support their credibility.
*cough*

If I click in the link on the first post, is someone also trying to sell private safes and other such items?

Is this really just an attempt like the big ammo shortage of 2009-10, or Y2K for businesses to try to scare us into buying their stuff?

No, it is just a blog post from some guy who makes references to memos circulating about Dept Homeland Security seizing gold, silver, and porn (of all things) from safe deposit boxes. If you google the text is on pretty much every "fear the government" blog type web site.

Yeah, but what sort of banner ads does the guy have around....and also, no way to know this....what does he do for a living? Sell safes and other types of survival gear?

I'm just saying that a lot of the people with blogs against "big pharma" have links all over trying to sell you vitamins, alternative healing cures, magnet wrist bands, cleanses etc etc etc. Not attacking those alternatives, just putting it out there that it's good to know if the messenger has a financial incentive to push thier message. (ie. The recent Autism study expose)

As Congress seeks to renew the Patriot Act, new information exposes egregious FBI violations.

They happen on both sides. There are plenty of lies about social security, medicare, and medicaid funds, taxes, welfare, healthcare, etc.

Over the Bush 8 year term he acquired 17 debunked myths.
Over the past 2 years Obama has acquired 68.

That would equate to 16 times as many BS stories being fed to inquiring right wind minds! That would appear to be overwhelmingly statistically significant.

Thanks for the help. BTW, you should do something about that cough!

it all reminds me of a guy i work with. he is so paranoid that someone may know something about him he wont go on line on the internet, he has no accounts accessible via the net. he worries about every piece of political news and he stays low off the radar where anyone can know anything about himself. ...

well he was shell shocked when from within the banking system itself someone got his credit card numbers and made fraudulant purchases. i almost died laughing.

heres a guy who worries about all this crap and they got him anyway... lol

folks ,spend your time doing things that add enjoyment, wealth and some good to your lives. it cracks me up how folks waste their time digging up every negative piece of garbage they can about life here and then wonder why their own lives are not the best it can be or should have been.
