If you can't afford the kid then you should not have it, therefore the kid would not be born poor. Seems like the poor and the uneducated continue to have babies.

I have sympathy for the disabled. They should get help. The ones that fought the country should get help if they are disabled

Unemployment should be given also to a certain extent. I don't care if long-term as long as they can prove that they are actively looking for work.

like criminals dont get welfare and steal too? of course they do..... we are to lax on who we are giving welfare too. it should be screened better so those who truely deserve it get it,

same with unemployment. i lost track how many people we interviewed at our company who wanted at least 20 bucks an hour so it equaled their unemployment and them working off the books for min wage. so many are just milking the system collecting for as long as they can and working off the books.

Here's a clue:

If the people you direct the statement at, do not know what you are trying to say, and tell you that whatever your point is... it was lost...

No it's not.

Now, you gonna answer or keep ducking?

I've known any number of lazy people who have ridden on the coattails of workaholics and have lived enviable lives.

My sister-in-law, for one, married to my workaholic brother.

She does "work" occasionally, reading the Want-Ads, searching for a job for my brother that will provide her with a little more luxury and financial security.

"motivated to work" that's an euphemism worth of elaborating on. Motivated to work by: fear, necessity, greed, single mindedness of a robot zombie, rat race to the next career perch, indoctrination, psychological deviations, family troubles, lack of interests/friends/life ..... There are all kinds of motivations to sell chunks of your life, freedom, dignity, civil rights etc. for little bit of money.

So far American Business is happy to have labor force motivated exclusively by fear of joblessness, poverty, sickness, old age, etc.. My guess they want to throw "illusions" to a motivation list, just in case.

Allow me to be the first to call BS. The absolute maximum unemployment benefit is $653 a week. $20/hr is $800 a week.

You have heard of the WPA right?

Works Progress Administration - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

That and other New Deal programs is "what we did" during the depression.

Better yet, everybody should purchase a license to breed, this way only superb genetic stock like yours would be passed to the next generation. There is a "small" problem though, you are not a poor only because there are poors out there serving your needs for le$$.

Now, imagine, for an argument sake, only trial lawyers are allowed to breed. What would happen? The age of unheard prosperity I guess

Did you make sure that there was no poor and uneducated in your bloodline before typing? Besides poor' fertility rates worry ruling class quite a bit, they are falling, that makes folks in charge little bit jittery. Unlike your ignorance, they know who makes them rich, that's why we have steady and consistent importation of poor and desperate (legal and illegal) from 3rd world countries called in to supplement falling birth rates of the home grown peons.
